Best "traditional " Italian restaurant around! Strongly recommend!! Comparable to authentic pizzerias in Rome, Milan and Florence !
I'm rating based solely on the pizza itself. Right now it's a four-star, but really, it's either a three-star or a five-star, and that will be decided when I find out whether they can make the crust right. The pie I got was soft and floppy, almost to excess. But the flavor and the freshness of the topping were outstanding. Damn shame. With the right crust this could be a perfect pizza (I ordered the Capriccio), but as it is, it's just average and overpriced. If the pie were perfect, the price would almost be a bargain, so it's kind of a big deal. Fast and courteous service, by the way. If you like a soft sloppy pizza this is your pizza heaven.
Food is amazing. This is a small restaurant and that is the only negative I can say about Acqua. Paulina is a doll. Always friendly and helpful. We had a larger party of 20 and were very accommodating. My daughter and I BOTH have a food allergy. Without hesitation Paulina took care of usand made our meal come out correct. This place is worth the wait.
The pizza was the highlight for me - perfect crust and fresh ingredients. I also had the chicken parm which was spot on. This place feels like an Italian grandma's kitchen, super cozy. Definitely worth checking out if you're after some real Italian comfort food.

I love my neighborhood pizza place but I will drive a half hour to go here. Food is beyondddd. So good. I don't ever take pictures because I eat it too fast. Polina is the best waitress and basically can carry the place on her back with minimal crying. No need to go to Italy.
Every time we come here it truly blows my mind. The food and quality of the food is amazing. For the pasta, there was a generous amount of seafood and the ratio of everything is amazing. The limoncello cake is a must try. I've also tried the carbonara pasta before and that has been my favorite pasta and the buffalina pizza is always our go to. All dishes were served very fast so we enjoyed the food. Atmosphere makes you feel you're at home.
Like this place in Newtown. It's a little small so on Saturday you will need wait to be seated. But pizza is really super good. My favourite is that with prosciutto. We had a lot of b-days there and it was nice ! Everyone from our family know this place and love it! Atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home.
